Success Stories

Through the efforts of dedicated staff and a fantastic group of volunteers and foster homes, Pawmetto Lifeline has found thousands of animals their forever homes. Here are just a few of the happy "tails" we love sharing with you.

If you'd love to share your story with us, please fill out this form.

My name is Rosie (they called me "Rosemary" at Pawmetto Lifeline) and I'm having a great time in my new home! My mommy adopted me in August 2010, and things couldn't' be better! I love playing chase and tug-of-war with my mom and going for walks, and I love going for car rides most of all!

I even like to wear the little outfits mom buys for me to wear. I am a very good girl, and everyone tells me how cute & sweet I am. I am still working on my potty-training; I'll get it down soon!

THANK YOU Pawmetto Lifeline for helping me find my forever-home!!!

This summer my sister and I adopted our puppy from project pet and you had been her foster mom.  I was just recently going through old paper work and came accross your email and thought you would want to know how she is!

When we adopted her, her name was Ellen but we switched it to Stevie after Stevie Wonder.  She is the best dog with the sweetest personality!  She's very smart and can sit, stay, lay down, shake paws, and we're currently working on teaching her how to shut the cabinet doors... I think good brains run in the family ; )  She lives for being outside and we take her to the river as much as possible.  She would swim around and play in the water all day if we let her!  She absolutely loves people and other dogs which can make it a little challenging when walking her on a leash but we're getting there!  She's spoiled and most deffinitely gets her love quota met, on very, very special occassions we even take her to Sonic and the lucky pup gets a cup of vanilla ice cream!  She's stubborn and goofy and can make you smile on even the rottenest of days.

Stevie was a great addition to our family and we're very grateful for our decision to adopt her.  She has brought us nothing but joy (and the occassional chewed up sock...) and life just wouldn't be the same without her!
I hope you're doing well and have a great day!  Thank you for taking care of our puppy for her first few months!
