Project Pet is proud to offer educational opportunities for area schools and various youth groups. We can tailor our presentation and demonstrations to the age range and needs of the group and can even bring animals to our presentations in order to enhance the hands-on learning experience.

Topics covered in our Humane Education sessions include, but are not limited to:

Animal welfare basics
Responsible pet ownership
Basic care for dogs and cats
Basic training for dogs and cats
Companion pet overpopulation and its effects (where age appropriate)
The importance of spay/neuter (where age appropriate)

In addition to early-age education, Project Pet also speaks to various groups and agencies regarding the issue of pet overpopulation and its impact on the community at large as well as Project Pet's mission specifically.
